I live on a remote cattle ranch in Wyoming. I share my little home-on-the-range with a cowboy... four delightful dogs, who are the loves of my life... and three cats (two by choice, one by divine intervention).
During the week, I commute an hour to town to work at a job that pays the bills but does not stimulate my creativity. On the bright side, I have an excuse to buy nice clothes and the gals in my office are a lot of fun.
Wyoming is beautiful and serene but winters seem to last forever. Sometimes they are spectacular, more-often they are unbearable. Summers are wonderful but way too short. Photo opps are endless, all year long.
My dreams...
I would love to be able to divide my time between Texas and Wyoming. My dream job is to fix up old houses and build new ones.
But the biggest dream that God has put in my heart is to restore the historic house I own in Southeast Texas. No matter where I live, the "Old House" will always be home. It always has been, always will be. My heart is there. I need it and it needs me... Now more than ever.
Favorite things...
I long for the South and all things Southern... with all my heart... all the time.
I'm obsessed with cottage-style decorating, beautiful homes, shabby chic and shopping for bargains.
I love new clothes...! (They're an obsession...!) And shoes...! And a girl can never have too many jackets...!
It's just a matter of time before God makes all my dreams come true. I hope you'll take this incredible journey with me. It's going to be amazing!
