Hydrangeas at the Old House in Texas...

My sister just sent these photos of the hydrangeas at the Old House in Texas. I think they are looking really good this year. When I was home in October, I pruned them. I think they appreciated it.

This one is for Pink Saturday...

  1. Happy Pink Saturday, Necel.

I have a huge soft spot for hydrangeas, and yours are beautiful. I just looked out the window at mine, and they are deep blue.

  6. I adore hydrangeas and have several in our garden here in Normandy. The pale pastel colours of the ones at the Old House are delightful.

  9. How pretty. I drive by other people's yards and wish my little bush would grow up and bloom so prettily.

  10. I have hydrangeas blooming... bright pink, next to some cherry red New Guinea Impatiens. It's really quite jarring! I think I'll start watering them with aluminum sulfate, and see if that helps. At least, they'll turn blue!

I always enjoyed my Dad's hydrangeas. They were pink and purple and blue, all at the same time.
