June Bug... Fur Friends Friday...

This is my dog, June Bug. Her nickname is "Buggles."

One day, Bug allowed me to photograph her.

She smiled for the camera.

But after that day, she quit allowing me to take her photo. She just hates the camera now.

Bug is a very unique dog with a very special story.

She was one of 159 dogs confiscated from a hoarder.

On her first night in captivity, she escaped. They couldn't find her.

She lived in the wild for 7 months. Then I caught her in a trap. She was terrified and cowered in the corner for a whole week.

Then on the seventh day, she climbed on top of me and licked me all over my face.

Now, she loves me... and Cowboy. But if you come over, she'll hide. She's just terrified of people.

Which makes me so sad because nobody gets to see her funny personality that keeps us constantly laughing.

I call this photo, "Crazy Eyes." She was struggling to get away from me and the camera. Oooo... scary!

She never stops wagging her tail. Except when I bring out the camera. Sometimes she just sits down in the road and won't follow me or look at me.

"I am not looking at that camera."

"Forget it, lady!"

"I won't do it."


"Oh, alright. But this is the last time!"
